Today I am remembering Christmas trees of the past..I remember in particular the ones on Glen Road in Virginia Beach when all the children were home and the presents were stacked higher than high. It was always set before a mirrored wall and looked twice as beautiful as it was! Little children always wanted to get to the "other tree".
Another was at the home on Forest View Drive in Virginia Beach in the tri-level and the tree was ever so tall and required a ladder to decorate, along with much patience and fortitude.
Another much later in Red house with just the two of us and friends and family just "visiting" and not so much to-do about it and now when we downsized and live in Florida in a much smaller home it is reduced to half a tree up against a wall and much smaller and sometimes inside and sometimes outside and we just go to Virginia and share our children's trees.
Oh! well times do change and we along with them.
